I've been using GoAuto for over 7 years. Easy to get insurance, good customer service in person, and by phone. I like the ease of getting a customer service rep on the phone. I get emails for payments and when it's time to renew in advance. I have the app on my phone to easily access my insurance cards and papers. It was easy to add my son on when he first started driving and needed permission for Driver's Ed. Go-Auto makes it easy to add and remove drivers, even when going on trips and an extra driver is needed.

I’ve had insurance with this company for the better part of a decade. I have never been in a wreck while covered by this company. I called last week to ask questions about filing a claim due to damage done to my truck on my property. This company filed an At-fault claim without my knowledge, pushed it through which has shot my premium up and I was not notified until I tried to renew my policy for the next six months. I have called the claims adjuster assigned to my case who could not answer my questions ended the call with “I need to speak to my supervisor”. I still haven’t heard back from this company and have to the end of the month to find a new company to insure my vehicles. This company is unprofessional, untrustworthy and uniformly unorganized.

Truly cut rate insurance and even worse customer service. I walked in around 5:00 on 5/19/23 to get a quote. Both employees seemed annoyed that I walked in 30 minutes before they closed. I had just gotten off of work, and this was the only time I was able to make it into the office.
I asked for basic coverages, nothing crazy. No accident history. My wife and I both have doctorate degrees. Excellent payment history. I was quoted $3,706/6 months. I quite literally laughed in the lady's face and walked out.
If you're reading this, do what I did:
I drove 4 minutes down the street to Geico and obtained insurance for 1/3 of the price within 30 minutes of walking out of the door at Go Auto.
I asked for basic coverages, nothing crazy. No accident history. My wife and I both have doctorate degrees. Excellent payment history. I was quoted $3,706/6 months. I quite literally laughed in the lady's face and walked out.

I asked the representative to mail our Id cards and she stated she didn’t have any stamps….If this is a place of business make sure your customers are pleased because I called her several times.

I had liability when my suburban was stolen. Police report filed. But while this person was out joy riding they had a wreck with another vehicle. Even though go auto had verification of my police report and spoke with me over the phone they put this guy on my policy and my insurance went from $114 a month to $255. They refused to help me unless I brought this guy's mail to them as proof he did not live with me
Also I paid my insurance for Jan. Then in Feb I renewed my policy... have confirmation email and everything. A week or so later my Jan payment was returned.... instead of calling me or sending me email to inform me so I could handle that payment they took my Feb renewal payment and put that towards Jan then told me i never renewed my policy. Not only did they screw me out my insurance but after that is when my bill went up to 255$. So it has messed me up at DMV for not returning my tags and it messed me up when I went to my new insurance provider cause they said it had been longer than 31 days since I had coverage. I called them over and over and over and not one single person would help me and I spoke with 2 of 3 managers and even called down in bar on rouge to maybe the main office and they hung up in my face. Very unprofessional and did not care about me, the situation, or me staying in business with them like I had been for 2 or 3 years. I do not recommend to anyone, prices may be low but they are scamming people out their hard earned money.... or at least trying to.

Love this place and it’s prices for my insurance. However, the website is faulty. I’ve tried several times to recover my account log in info to make a payment before my policy was cancelled, but the website doesn’t work. So now I have to pay them $430 next month just to get my policy renewed because their website doesn’t work. Being a young adult without any financial help or family with two jobs still doesn’t cover this cost for me because I have other bills to pay. So I just can’t have insurance for a full month until I can afford this $430 renewal.

If i could give no stars, I would! Worst insurance company around! This is not geared at the local office but towards GoAuto Insurance as a whole. Buyer beware! For the service and response u get with this company, u may as well pay a bit extra to get a reputable company like State Farm, Progressive, All-State, etc. My mom, who is 76 years old, has been with this company for years as she's on a fixed income and just needed the minimum coverage. A few months ago, she added another vehicle to her policy that required "Full Coverage" because it was a newer and had a lien holder. Long story short, she drove through a water puddle during that big flood Shreveport had. As a result, the car stalled and had to be towed to the dealership. Mom filed the claim 2 months ago, and they have not authorized or paid for the vehicle repair to date! We have since filed a complaint with Louisiana Insurance Commission with hopes of getting this resolved. Please don't cheat urself by trying to get cheap insurance. You get wut u pay for, and in this case, none of wut u paid for!

I purchased a policy from this company about ten days ago. I haven’t received an id card nor have I received a copy of my payment schedule or any policy documents. However, I received a ten day cancellation notice threatening to cancel my policy if I don’t pay them another $400 by the end of the month. This was not indicated anywhere when I purchased the policy and the staff are unhelpful. This company’s practices are unethical and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. I do not recommend this company at all.

I was very disappointed; to say they are none commission agent! I was not acknowledged when I walked into the Jewella Rd location. Then when I called ; I was ask so many unnecessary questions! I thought it was interrogation! I really just needed a direct quote!
